Dear Families and Friends

I invite you to pay tribute to Mrs Mridula Nasreen Sarwar by joining a webinar memorial gathering.

Mrs Sarwar died while serving as President of Bangladesh Association Glasgow (BAG), bravely fighting at an intensive care unit for a month before succumbing to Covid pneumonia on 12 December 2020.

She was more than just the President of BAG. For many of us, it will take a long time, if at all, to come to terms with the untimely demise of our beloved friend.

An inspirational character, she was a key figure in a number of organisations including BAG, BPA, BBN and Bangla Centre. From Scotland to Bangladesh, from family to friends, from knowns to unknowns - she will be remembered as a kind, generous and dependable personality.
