Shahrina works as a doctor in Glasgow treating mental health patients. She completed medical education at Sir Salimullah Medical College.

She has been living in Glasgow for the last 15 years. Shahrina was trained by Ustad Akhtar Sadmani as a classical singer.

She performs singing at cultural events in Glasgow. She instructs classical and modern dancing to children of Bangla Biddya Niketon.
