Celebrating 50 Years of Independence

26th March 2021 marks the 50th anniversary of independence for the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

To mark this special occasion, Bangladesh Association Glasgow is hosting an online event on the day @8pm.

We will be joined by Mr. Pushp Vaid, an ex-Indian Air Force pilot, who served in the final days of our Independence War and will share his experience with us.

This will be followed by a cultural programme where we will travel back in time to listen to “Shadhin Bangla Betar Kendro”, performed by Trisha Bhattacharjee, an artist of extra ordinary talent and versatility.
