Shiful Islam is an experienced IT professional with over 10 years of hands-on expertise in software development and delivery.

He is currently a Senior Software Engineer within the UK Government, working as a civil servant on large-scale, secure digital services that support critical public-sector systems. His work focuses on end-to-end product development, with a strong emphasis on scalability, security, and reliable delivery in complex environments.

Alongside this, Shiful has professional experience at Lloyds Banking Group, where he contributed to building scalable and secure banking solutions and played a key role in delivering high-quality, user-centric financial applications.

Previously, he worked at UserTesting, a Silicon Valley-based technology company specialising in improving digital product experiences through real-time user feedback. Before that, he held roles at JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley, gaining extensive experience in financial services technology, enterprise systems, and agile development practices.

He lives in the UK with his wife, Bithy, and their two sons, Arash and Ahyaan. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, travelling, watching movies, and spending quality time with his children.
